SvG currently has the following vacancy in our office in Almaty which may require some domestic or international travel subject to project and client needs:

 

Position: Analyst, Investment Banking

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan 

 

Required experience and skills:

​

• Up to 2 years of professional experience involving exposure to corporate finance, M&A, advisory, capital markets or/and project finance transactions desirable

• Solid command of finance, accounting and economics, with an advanced understanding of company/industry analysis and financial modelling methodologies as a distinct advantage

• Sound knowledge of the CIS region, with a good understanding of relevant sectors, including oil & gas, metals and mining, financial services sectors etc.

• Good communication and presentation skills with a solid knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel

• Excellent interpersonal skills, responsible attitude, and eager to learn and pick up new skills

• Proactive and result oriented, with both an ability and strong desire to perform in a high-pressure environment

Preferred education:

Bachelor or Master degree from a leading university

 

Knowledge:

Fluency in both English and Russian, Kazakh welcome
